What our customers say about their holidays
Sam - Verified booking
We stayed here for 10 nights.
The lodge itself was fantastic as was the location with great views and easy access. However, the so called "facilities" on site were virtually none existent. There was ment to be a onsite restaurant, this was closed for the entirety of our stay. After reading other reviews it's seems to of been closed for a long time. There didn't seem to be any onsite laundry facilities despite what the listing says. Also for a water park there was no activities going on and certainly no sign of any events. The site itself is looked after and the service from the host was great and very helpful. A welcome pack would of saved a lot of hassle. E.g how to get the hot water running properly. It was quite quiet and somewhat erie at times however we did stay just after the main season. Overall we loved our stay and would stay again but feel things could of been made clearer........also , ignore Google maps . P.s thank you for the dog pack it was greatly appreciated!

It was very well maintained and clean.
Loved the remote control blinds in the kitchen. The heating system was different, but adequate to our needs. Not sure it would be enough for a really cold day, but I noticed there were radiators in the property and I assume they would be functional when required. The shower was good and the bed was very comfortable. The seating in the lounge let it down as the sofa in particular and the chair were not that comfortable. I sat on the sofa for the first evening and my back was very sore. So I sat in the harder chair. Maybe ok for younger people, but when in your sixties, itâs not good enough. Next door had a party on Friday evening and were loud, which is fair enough, itâs Friday. But we knew we wouldnât sleep enough before leaving on Saturday, so we left at 9.45pm. We will not consider having a holiday in an apartment again because of this experience as you are paying for a relaxing holiday.

This is a lovely wee place.
Accurately listed on Sykes. Comfortable beds, sofa, chairs etc and the garden is a lovely spot. Also, surprisingly private, considering it is a flat, it's easy to forget that. The kitchen is really well equipped, bread maker, slow cooker, baking stuff etc, I'd be surprised if anyone was short of something here. It's also really well done with electric blinds, induction hob etc, all really easy to use. The wifi is also easy to use and worked perfectly. The wee park out the front is ideal for 1st and last trips for the dog. Out the back, we had enough space to park and turn an estate and the wee local shop was ideal for small things. The welcome pack covers lots of things so we'll worth a read through. We didn't use the log burner, as it was mid-July, but this would be a lovely spot when it's on. All in all, this is a smashing place. We can't wait to go back. Top marks on upgrading it

The house itself was immaculate as well as being in a stunning location.
Itâs a stones throw from the falls of foyers which is well worth a visit. The home was easy to find and easy access through the key safe. Lovely garden for the dog to the rear and space for parking. Unfortunately we couldnât work out the heating system so our first night there was a very very cold one. I did try an ring the ownerl but couldnât get through. We worked out that the pictures on the walls are actually heaters strangely. It would be good if this was explained in the welcome email just to avoid teething problems. Also be prepared for a cold shower. The shower system alternates from cold to boiling hot water in tandem. We tried having a bath instead but the same from the taps. Despite the above issues with the facilities we did have a lovely time.

10 out of 10!
! The lodge was immaculately clean and beautifully presented. I couldnât fault it. It had everything we needed and more. All the extra little bits were a lovely touch too. The view is something else, looking out over the loch from the sofa was beautiful!! My little boy had a great time watching all the different boats sail past. I saw the lodge on a Facebook page âInglewood Lodge in The Great Glenâ which offered Guided Fishing trips and messaged them to book with my kids. We all had a fab time. My 5 year old learnt how to cast and actually caught a huge pike!! Definitely worth booking whilst youâre there. All in all, an amazing lodge, with amazing finishing touches, in an amazing location!! We will be visiting again!!
