  Wow! Simple as that really.

  For a 1 bedroom flat, this place is amazing. In fact, I didn't want to leave.... The whole place is comfortable and homely. The sofas in the living room are now on my list to buy for my own house. The kitchen has everything in it that you could need. (including cling film and foil). Spotlessly clean. The garden was a great addition. I genuinely can't praise the place enough! Being able to park around the back also came in useful as it is a popular street. I am familiar with the area so always knew the location would be perfect for us. Shops and a few great pubs around the corner. Short walk to the metro station. Short walk to Spanish city and the beach. This trip has reconfirmed why I want to relocate up there. However while that isn't an option, I'll just have to book to stay again (already looking at dates)

  I stayed here with 6 friends. There are a fair few steps leading up to the place. But once inside we were pleasantly surprised. The place was great. it had excellent cooking facilities, a large fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The corner sofa was plush. The 1st floor had a double bedroom and a bedroom for 3 which had a double bed and a single bunk above. There was also a bathroom with a toilet, sink & bath with an overhead shower. The next floor had a double bedroom and a bathroom with a toilet, sink & walk in shower. ALL throughout was exceptionally clean. There is even a parking permit allowing off street parking. But the location makes this place even better. It's just around the corner from a high street full of bars, cafés and gift shops. An absolute must place to stay for your trip to Tynemouth.

  We had a lovely stay at The George.

  What a wonderful welcoming flat this is and although we had no issues during our stay communication with the hosts was great and I know they are most helpful. The George is fully equipped and was very much home from home, with quality furniture and fixings. The outdoor space was great (especially for the dog) with the added bonus of a parking permit meaning we had no issues parking. Location is great, being just a short walk from the beach, small town centre and the metro also on the doorstep for days out further afield. Welcome pack, including milk (much appreciated due to late arrival and shopping not being delivered until the next day) was a lovely touch and the supply of some of the essentials was great. I would highly recommend and be more than happy to stay again.

  Cowrie Cottage far exceeded our expectations.

  It was warm, welcoming, spotlessly clean and much more spacious than we anticipated. The hosts have gone out of their way to provide everything you could possibly need and more (including treats for us and our dog Saffie!) The location is very convenient just 2 minutes away from the beach and lovely walks in either direction, either to Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. We found the information pack provided very useful, which included recommendations of places to visit and to eat etc. of which we tried several. The nearby Co-op store was also handy, and had freshly baked pastries in a morning! We highly recommend Cowrie Cottage and would love to return. Thank you Julie for your excellent communication.   The cottage was wonderful; it felt like home as soon as we'd walked through the door.

  The photos on the website didn't do it justice - it seemed much larger than we had initially expected. Everything was of exceptional quality and the whole cottage was spotless. The décor was very stylish. The cottage's location was perfect - close to the sea front, but away from any noise. The Co-op store was 2 minutes walk away and had everything we needed that first night. We found another grocer nearby the morning we left ! (I'm sorry, but I can't remember the street the grocer is on, but they had fabulous deli items and artisan breads). We walked into Tynemouth and Whitley Bay , and on another day caught the Metro into Newcastle, all within walking distance.
