  Everything was perfect and tranquil for us and our two rescue dogs.

  We booked the property to get away from fireworks as where we live in Marske by the Sea we have two rugby clubs and two cricket clubs within two miles and they all have firework displays on different days. The accommodation was lovely and clean and there was an enclosed back garden so the dogs could go out there when needed. We were also impressed that the owners left us bacon, sausage, butter, eggs, bread buns and milk as well as tea bags and coffee. It was a thoughtful touch even though my wife had ordered a grocery delivery from Sainsburys to arrive an hour later. The driver wondered where he was heading but he knows next time. The location was superb lovely and remote, we could park and unload right outside and it was so quiet and we were fortunate to be blessed with sunshine most of the time too. We could come and go at our leisure and as National Trust members we found two places virtually on our doorstep (Wallington and Cragside near Rothbury) though we were limited to how much walking we could do due to a recent knee replacement operation. Amazing countryside with Rothbury and many other places not far away to visit. We will definitely be back in the future.

  Cottage was immaculate and in a beautiful setting over looking the lake.

  Host had left a welcome pack, including a dog bag with a ball, this was a lovely touch. The only recommendation I would make is that the holiday park is huge and not well sign posted when you enter. It was extremely hard to find the cottage on the site and I had to ask in the on site pub for directions (which they weren’t even sure about). I appreciate this isn’t the host’s responsibility but the park itself could do with directional signage to the correct roads within. Thankfully I arrived in the day but it would have been virtually impossible to find in the dark. That said, we had a fabulous stay. The location is in a prime spot for exploring. I would imagine the site is very busy in the summer but I would definitely visit again at quieter times as that’s just my personal preference.

  Another fabulous trip, thank you!

  It’s becoming a home from home for us! First time staying at The Granary, but two previous stays next door in The Byre. Thank you for the welcome pack of food and decorating for Christmas. We love being tucked all the way down the farm track and with the incredible views from both properties. Having an enclosed garden is good for the dog too, although he’s also very happy running free from the front door. We feel so content staying up in either of your cottages - somewhat envious that you live there year-round! Hope to see you again soon. Family of four with our little black dog.

  Lovely cottage, very comfortable and in a fabulous location – just a few minutes walk to the castle, beach and restaurants. We wanted to be in Bamburgh and also wanted to be within walking distance of local amenities and the beach so Grace Cottage was ideal. And also parking was available next to the property. We liked having the basics included in the welcome basket such as bread, butter, milk and we enjoyed the treats. Everything was good and I know we can rely on consistently high standards when booking with Coquet Cottages.

  Lovely cosy cottage nicely kitted out. Welcome hamper full of goodies. Great location. I was with ageing parents, so one level, two bathrooms -one with bath and near eateries was essential. I like the luxury of Coquet Cottages and think great value for what you get. Beds were super large and comfy. Flexibility of heating a plus. Views great. Bathroom products added a sense of luxury. All good really! I like dealing with your company. I already have another booked and will book again with you next year.
