What our customers say about their holidays
Beth - Verified booking
We had the most wonderful time staying in Primrose.
We needed some time to get away, chill out and feel relaxed and this was the perfect place to do so. The sun shining in through the big windows each day made the space feel warm and cosy even in the November cold! The view was stunning and lovely area for a walk too. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I myself was working remotely for a few days throughout our stay and the speedy WiFi was a huge help to this too! The only feedback to offer is in regards to the kitchen resources - it wouldâve been beneficial to have had a better quality frying pan, preferably non-stick, as even when using oil for cooking and soaking the pan before washing up, the pan was incredibly difficult to clean and we found that when washing, it took the coating off the bottom of the pan. It also wouldâve been useful to have a pair of scissors. We did move the furniture slightly on arrival as the sofa was very very far away from the TV! But we moved every thing back before we left. Aside from this, everything else was perfect. Easy to find and access, plenty of space to park and great outside seating spaces too.

The chalet was clean, spacious and comfortable.
Set in a beautiful location not too far from places to visit such as Glastonbury Tor and Clarks Village in Street. Various supermarkets within driving distance. Very peaceful location and great views, pond seemed well stocked with fish. Out of the three chalets Primrose is on the end, Foxglove the middle and Bluebell by the lane. Had a peacock pay a visit, saw deer, a pheasant and butterflies. Lovely powerful shower. Would only say for feedback purposes it was lacking in utensils if you wanted to cook in. Could do with a small pirex bowl, slotted spoon, better can opener, casserole dish and baking tray. More cups as well. Oven gloves otherwise you have nothing to grab the grill with. Luckily I brought all this myself. Hairdryer and fan would be a nice edition. Overall though a great place to stay. Wooden bench on the veranda turns into a table, novel invention.

Foxglove is in a beautiful location.
Relax on the decking or looking out of the window in the main room and watch the horses running around together. Foxglove is spacious and was very clean. On arrival we were left a bottle of "Moon Cider" It's made just around the corner from the accommodation and if I did have a moan about our stay is we were only given 1 bottle. It's a really nice drink and I recommend you go and buy a couple yourself. Jo met us on arrival and was welcoming. If we needed her we could always go around the house or call her mobile. We intend going back and for those intending to go I can tell you the WiFi was fine and good. We took our own firestick and we had no problems playing it. So in summary we had a relaxing stay in beautiful accomodation overlooking lush green hills with horses to keep you company.

If youâre looking for luxury, then this is not for you.
The chalets are utilitarian; clean, with basic, IKEA furniture, at a guess, but adequate. But itâs okay. The chalet is situated on a farm, in the middle of nowhere, but not far from everywhere, Glastonbury being about four miles away and I think, Wells about the same distance. The welcome we received was second to none. Jo is a wonderful host and is an easy and open, person to talk with. The farm is a livery, so if you love horses, then you wonât be disappointed. There is walking, if that is your activity and then there is Petunia, a resident peahen. Would I return after four nights experienced? Too right I will, but for a longer time.

We were three families who rented three cottages and all three are similar.
We had excellent stay. Jo and her husband were very helpful and they showed children the horse stables and children enjoyed this very well. The accommodation was brilliant, very clean and very good size. We were four in each chalet and it was very comfortable. Children played all day cricket on the fields in front of the chalet and they even helped out with the barbecue at the pond which was great. We would visit again and it will be great for three families visiting together. Only thing was there was no Wifi, but this was not something we were bothered with.
