  Excellent position, overlooking the river yet within minutes from the village centre and the beach. Very comfortable and well equipped. Everything we could have wanted was provided. Had to be dog friendly. The off road parking is always a bonus. We liked the look of the cottage and the modern interior. Views and proximity to everything important to us. Our 3rd stay with Coquet Cottages, but certainly not our last. Warkworth is my favourite place so far and we have already booked Honeybee Cottage for our next visit in March to celebrate our wedding anniversary in style. Lovely to find lights on and everything ready for a welcome cuppa before we unpacked. The Welcome Hamper was full of High quality thoughtful gifts, all of which we have enjoyed over the week. The scones were amazing and the bottle of wine was exactly what I would have chosen for myself, well done. The views and the location were great, on site parking and lovely little sun trap garden. We loved it.

  Having just had our second stay at Owl Cottage we loved it just as much as the first time. A beautiful cottage that is so welcoming and well equipped with great space for our family and all our needs are catered for here; a lovely kitchen with french doors leading out onto the garden and gate to the riverbank, upstairs there is a large welcoming lounge with comfy sofas and lovely views of the river with Amble in the distance, gorgeous bedrooms with lovely comfortable beds and crisp linens, and two bathroom with fluffy white towels (perfect!). We stayed with our little dog and on arrival had a lovely welcome basket with some scrumptious goodies there were much appreciated and there was also a welcome basket for our little dog too which was such a lovely touch. Warkworth is such a beautiful village and we’ve had a lovely relaxing time.

  Having just had our second stay at Owl Cottage we loved it just as much as the first time. A beautiful cottage that is so welcoming and well equipped and a great space with everything and more that you could want. A lovely kitchen with French doors to the garden and a gate to the riverbank. Upstairs a large welcoming lounge with comfy sofas and lovely views of the river and Amble in the distance. Gorgeous bedrooms with lovely comfy beds and crisp clean bedding, and 2 bathrooms with fluffy white towels and a downstairs cloakroom too. We stayed with our little dog and on arrival had a lovely welcome basket with some scrumptious goodies that were much appreciated and there was also a welcome basket for our little dog too which was a lovely touch. Warkworth is such a beautiful village and we had a lovely relaxing time.

  Beautifully furnished house with a great layout and with everything you could need for a home from home stay. Going over New Year, we thoroughly appreciated the festive decorations. We had a dog with us and the fact we could walk out of the back on to the river bank was just lovely. There were some lovely sunrises and sunsets over the river and a wonderful view of the Castle from the front of the house. Warkworth village certainly does retain a medieval charm and has the best of both worlds, also having an easy walk to the sea via sand dunes. The pubs in the village serve great food too but we were quite contented in our lovely house and with the ample hamper of goodies that Coquet Cottages leave for you. I shall not hesitate to return back very soon. Please note, the pictures of the house do not do it justice.

  Beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Kept plenty warm considering time of year. The photos don’t do it justice! Loved where it was situated. Your website is very informative and everyone I spoke to on the phone were more than helpful. It was the best info file I had ever seen in a property – very comprehensive. The hamper was gorgeous and my dog Barney’s Christmas present wrapped up was so cute. Thank you. A variety of goods in the welcome basket and your personalised goods. Having champagne was very nice. The bathroom was lovely, kitchen brilliant, but view from lounge was great and the lounge with Christmas tree and garland was so homely. TV also big enough for everyone to view. THANK YOU for a wonderful time – Owl Cottage was everything we wanted and more!! Our family New Year was superb!
