  What an awesome find on Airbnb this was. We stayed for two nights, family of four with two kids aged 8 and 9 whilst visiting family in the area. Stunning property well designed right in the heart of the English countryside on a working farm with nothing but rolling hills, farms animals including some geese and fresh air. The kids had a room each. The views were stunning and to be honest could have just stayed there for longer. A lovely well stocked kitchen and cosy lounge area and the fridge was stocked with some small essentials and a basket of goodies on the kitchen table…so thoughtful. If I owned this I would build 3 or 4 more on the farm exactly the same. Would definitely stay here again.

  Perfect in every respect, location on a working farm, we were surrounded by fields with sheep and lambs. Lodge is contemporary and very well appointed. Welcome hamper with home made cake,, bread, coffee, wine, muesli, bananas, and in the fridge cheese, butter, milk, eggs and orange juice. We were a party of 3 couples so the accommodation was perfect with each couple having their own en suite. The owners live in the farmhouse whilst the lodge is in the grounds. Communication prior to arrival was excellent and Clare was on hand for any queries. We loved it so much we want to take our daughter back there now with her family..

  Wonderful place to stay and suited us as a group of friends perfectly. Each bedroom was ensuite and wonderful views from every room especially the lounge where we were lucky to watch a glorious sunset on our first evening. The combined kitchen, diner, lounge was good for us as we could chat whilst preparing meals. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Indeed, everything was to a high quality and the lodge was exceptionally clean. Also, very effeicient heating, we were warm and cosy throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet, so good nights sleep was had.

  A fabulous stay in a wonderful rural location ( even though we did have bad weather). The welcome Hamper was extremely generous , I haven't see one this good pre covid. Plenty of useful utensils/crockery. Lovely soft bedlinen. We enjoyed using 2 bathrooms for just two of us. If I was being super critical , the only thing I would change is, for a bigger TV in the main area, and would use the current one in the Master bedroom. Communications with the owner was timely and clear . I would highly recommend a stay at Strawberry Lodge and we definitely plan a return visit soon.

  Strawberry Lodge was a wonderful place to stay, the views across the farm were magnificent from the sitting room. Despite the weather we sat outside in the morning with a cup of tea enjoying the vista. The place was very clean and an ideal layout. We were delighted with the basket the owner left with food including a home made cake and homemade marmalade For 6 of us we each had a bedroom with an ensuite which was perfect. I had a few text conversations and the owner was friendly and very helpful, checking we were fine during our stay.
