What our customers say about their holidays

Saw it had a welsh name, Bwthin y mor, disappointed it had been changed to an English name, why!
. It was decorated according to the welsh name. Tv wouldnt work so had to call ownwer who came immediately to show us how it worked. From him, we discovered that there was no BBC channels, and that there was a firestick so there were lots of other things. We had no idea about a firestick, everything we tried to watch seemed to need a sky card or a prime account so we were stuck with the freesat minus BBC programmes. In the summer this would not be a problem, in the winter it was. There should be info on how to use these things as well. We didn't know how to use the microwave/oven and avoided using it, again no instructions. Seating was uncomfortable, small and slouchy whereas I need something that would support my back. (bed was also uncomfortable but this is a personal preference). No instructions on recycling so we guessed at what went where. No bin in the kitchen. Shower has mould growing and is very poor. Took ages to get soap from my hair as the shower wasnt powerful enough. Bathroom generally needs some modernisation

A very comfortable and well refurbished Cottage.
A great place to stay with easy access to great walks on the beautiful north wales coast. The cottage, which has been expertly converted from what was once a dairy, it is very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. The cottage was perfectly clean and he welcome pack was excellent. The hot tub is an extra bonus. Carole (with an e btw!) and James were excellent hosts We had car problems on the journey to the cottage and were very late arriving. We kept in contact supportive. We were welcomed by Carole who lives next door James and Carole put me in contact with the local garage who, much to my surprise, were able to diagnose the problem and obtain and fit the necessary part the following day. It was a pleasure to chat to Carole although, as noted before, she was not at all intrusive. The history of the building was very interesting at one point it was a general store, haberdashery and private clinic all run by the same person! The cottage is highly recommended

First of all Carole the host who lives next door is so lovely.
Not Intrusive at all but very knowledgeable about the area, and very helpful . The cottage is stunning with everything you could need provided. Including fresh towels delivered to the door half way through our stay. The Hot tub was amazing. The cottage is perfectly positioned in Rhiw which is only a short 7 min drive into the gorgeous unspoiled seaside village Aberdaron. Which has 2 pubs, a couple of restaurants/ cafes, a chippy, a gift shop, and a fab bakery which was a little overpriced.there is also a spar shop too. We didnât want to go home after our weeklong stay Whistling sands is a must for walkers and beach lovers I cannot wait to return to the Lyn Peninsula Just one thing take it slow and easy driving on the very scarey roads Itâs £5 to park on the national trust car parks at Aberdaron and Porthor (whistling sands) all day

A quaint little stone cottage on an immaculate static caravan site.
The cottage was very clean and well maintained (not always the case with dog friendly accommodation). Well equipped kitchen, full size oven, hob and fridge all spotlessly clean and a private patio which was very useful as it's all surrounded by walling, so no worry about escapees. Modern bathroom with good size shower cubicle and 1 very pleasant bedroom. Easily big enough for 2 people plus 1 dog. You can walk into Tywyn in around 10 to 15 mins and Aberdovey is a short drive away. What we liked most was how peaceful and quiet the site was. No noise at night and just the sound of lambs by day. Very helpful host and groundsman on duty everyday maintaining the greenery and emptying bins etc. We were very impressed and would definitely visit again

Very clean, compact little cottage.
Good location for long dog walks on the beach. Great views from the garden across the bay. We had fabulous sunsets every night of our stay. The kitchen is compact, but the multi purpose combination microwave oven thingy did it's job as did the mini double hob. Roomy fridge, but no freezer compartment. Ideal for 2 on a short break. The walk along the beach into Harlech then back on the old Harlech road to the doorstep is about 5 miles and very enjoyable except for the hill up to the village. Y Gwyllt (the Wilderness ) cafe is v. dog friendly and has great coffee and pizza (and wool), and Y Groser has really good quality produce and excellent "proper" ready meals and the friendly owners will also deliver to the cottage.
