We have had a very satisfactory âglampingâ holiday.
Considering the kind of experience we were after, it ticked all our boxes. The tent was spacious enough for the four of us (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 almost-teen) and had the right balance of amenities. The hot tub was an enjoyable experience in itself. Firing up the wood burners with the firelighters, kindling and wood provided provided a memorable experience for the children and ourselves as parents. The peaceful setting and the views of the surrounding beautiful countryside were appreciated. It was a haven to return to after our countryside walks and ramblings. The owners, Amber and Tony, were warm and welcoming and made our stay pleasant to remember. We would happily recommend this holiday property to anyone whoâs never been glamping before, and even to those who have.

we had the most fantastic week at the roundhouse. Having stayed at quite a few self catering holiday cottages we were absolutely delighted with the standard of equipment and furnishings and what can I say about the view......outstanding. This was by far the best holiday we have had for years and would not hesitate in recommending this property or going back! one thing that would absolutely finish the property off is 2 gates are put across the side of the property to enclose the back garden.it looks like the fencing is newly installed and next door is fenced in. We only had pets to keep in but if you had children they could wander off! just a suggestion! Anyway I cant recommend Cornish Horizons or the Roundhouse enough and I will be doing so to all my friends!

We really loved staying in the very spacious safari tent ,it really was glamping.
It was just what we needed with a big step up from camping but still out in nature. Collecting the logs which were provided and making the fires for the hot tub and stove was part of the fun . The large field /meadow was kept very natural which is what we liked,it was teeming with wildlife ,sitting on the veranda just soaking it all in was an absolute joy. Our teenage daughter loved it all ,she went in the hot tub daily and enjoyed the space in general and one night sitting around the camp fire singing songs and Star gazing . I always take my own pillow on holiday . It wasnt needed . The beds and bedding plus pillows were comfy and warm . It was a little hidden gem in our opinion . Thank you to Amber and Tony .

The Roundhouse Mill is a comfortable, luxurious property with stunning views. We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday there and the property's location allows for many trips to beautiful beaches and great restaurants in and around Padstow. The property was extremely clean upon arrival and there were an abundance of towels and a well-stocked kitchen to help provide a relaxing trip. We'll definitely be back!
