What our customers say about their holidays

âââââ My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cabin in Mid-Wales, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!
From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning natural surroundings and the cozy vibe of the cabin. **Location:** Nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside, the location was absolutely ideal for nature lovers like us. We enjoyed easy access to numerous walking trails that offered breathtaking views of rolling hills, lush forests, and serene streams. Each day, we embarked on invigorating hikes, appreciating the calm and tranquility that the area provides. Whether youâre an experienced hiker or just looking for a leisurely stroll, thereâs something for everyone nearby. **Accommodations:** The cabin itself was immaculate and well-equipped, striking the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, from the warm decor to the fully stocked kitchen that made our stay feel like a home away from home. The living area was cozy, making it the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. **Hot Tub:** One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the hot tub! After long days of hiking, nothing was more relaxing than soaking in the warm, bubbling water while taking in the picturesque views around us. It was a wonderful way to unwind each evening under the stars, adding a touch of luxury to our getaway. **Overall Experience:** We left feeling rejuvenated and thoroughly refreshed, thanks to the combination of outdoor adventures and relaxing downtime in the hot tub. The peace and quiet of the countryside made our stay even more special, allowing us to reconnect and recharge away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. If youâre looking for a serene cabin experience in Mid-Wales, complete with stunning landscapes and a hot tub, this is the place to go! We canât wait to return!

We were looking forward to having a break away from it all in complete privacy having seen the photographs and checking on the fencing situation as we have a dog who is over- friendly.
When we arrived Keith asked a lady by the farm type buildings and machinery where we might find Poppy. She did not engage in any welcoming conversation just told us it was the second one along. The huts are attractive but the view from the back window was awful and a tractor with some sort of scraper was going backwards and forwards scraping rainwater from the ground for quite some time. The photographs are also very misleading, we realised they must have been taken with a fish-eye lense as the hut and the garden area were very much smaller and the other huts much closer than we thought. There was a âGuests informationâ booklet but this did not give any information about how to use the shower, the heating, the hob or the tv. A Guest book was provided for guests to write their feedback but I found it a little suspicious, considering the above that it was a loose leaf book, with only glowing reviews. Although it was thoughtful to provide a small bottle of milk and coffee, tea and sugar, it would be a good idea to provide condiments and cooking/olive oil too. We enjoyed our break due to the places we visited and the views of the hills and sheep but the experience could have been so much better with some friendliness and thoughtfulness from the hosts.

We stayed for 3 nights as a mini honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect.
The pod was incredibly clean and every detail had been thought of, there were so many added comforts that were much appreciated, such as the blankets, the badminton set, the good quality towels, the really comfy bed and the nice crockery. We cooked some really lovely meals using the George Foreman bbq. It is located in the middle of nowhere, its 20 minutes drive to the nearest shop but we were happy with that, it was completely silent at night, other than the quiet humming of the hot tub and with such minimal light pollution we got amazing views of the stars at night. The hot tub was lovely, very clean and private and to sit in that and look out at the countryside was so relaxing! I have only scored a 7 on how likely I am to recommend to others because while we were there, our friends were asking for the details and when we went to send them, we realised the prices had more than doubled since we booked which I get, what with inflation but we won't be able to return again now as for the same money for us to spend 3 nights there, we could go abroad for a week.

Beautiful location and accommodation, in absolutely pristine condition.
Would recommend adding curtains at least to the outer door as although it is very secluded, it did leave us feeling a little uneasy/exposed. Only other things to mention is the water not being very hot and we were disappointed not to be allowed to use a fire pit despite their being no mention of it in the details. So far that sounds a bit negative, but those 3 things mentioned are the only small blemishes on what is an absolutely fantastic place for some peace, quiet and relaxation. Although "in the middle of nowhere", it is close enough to towns like Ludlow, Telford and Shrewsbury and there is so much to see and do - and you are given all the information you could need and more in the documentation provided in the accommodation. The hot tub is bliss, the bed is pure comfort and the 42" smart TV means you have all you could want. Thank you - we got just what we needed from your little piece of the world and have already recommended and passed on details to a few family and friends. We WIL be back! :-D
