  We were absolutely blown away by Driftwood when we visited for New Year. The property is modern and bright, with so many little extras to make the stay feel special. We were greeted by beautiful Christmas lights and decor and a surprise hamper, which was so thoughtful. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the living area is second to none we have stayed in. The bedrooms are comfortable and the property was spotlessly clean. The games room and hot tub kept our children entertained, as well as the ability to watch films on the large tv using our own streaming accounts. The property location is ideally situated a short and pleasant walk from Instow beach, which we visited most days, and we had a lovely meal at the Instow arms which had been recommended. The property is also a great base to explore the local area, which has so much to offer. Some of our party went out for long runs, and enjoyed the various route options and scenery. All in all we would thoroughly recommend Driftwood, and hosts Charlotte and Mark. We are already looking to book again! Thank you!

  The various premises were beautifully furnished and comfortable and the outdoor pool was fantastic. We used all the facilities too - BBQ, sauna, hot tub and tennis court iand enjoyed walks in the woods belonging to the property. The only slight inconvenience was that the Coach House only had a single oven so we often had to use the ovens in the other properties in cooking dinner and also bring some of therir seats over so that we could dine together - 8 at the dining table and 7 at the adjacent breakfast bar. The owners were very friendly and helpful - eg uncovering the pool whenever we wanted and recovering it afterwards. We were only 40 minutes from Bude for a day out at the seaside and also had a trip for a walk and swim on Dartmoor. The nearby Roadford Lakes were well worth a visit too - overall a great holiday thoroughly enjoyed by everybody.

  Our group had an absolutely amazing stay at Driftwood, what a beautiful property. The upstairs living space is stunning,a large great open plan area for socialising but still managed to have a cosy homely feel. One of the most well equipped kitchen I have ever used with some very high specification appliances. The hot tub and swing seat had a beautiful view and the games room was very well equipped and great fun. Before our stay I received a very helpful informative welcome pack containing all the information we needed from appliance manuals to great places to eat! A lovely generous welcome hamper greeted us along with a filled coffee machine and some refreshments in the fridge and the heating already on in the games room!   Driftwood was a beautiful experience, the house is really well equipped inside and out - even in January we enjoyed the garden, and the games room was a lovely addition. Charlotte and Mark have clearly put a lot of thought and love into the house and it was a really welcoming. The kitchen ware is fitted out to a really high standard, the open plan layout is very social and enabled us to both really enjoy our time together and have space to do our own thing. It was just a short and pleasant walk to Instow Beach, although the view from the hot tub and garden were so nice it was a wrench to leave the house. We would certainly return next time we are in the area.

  We had a wonderful stay at White Horses - the house is perfect for young families. A gorgeous open plan space, beautifully furnished with a cosy, homely feel. The garden and outside terraces are amazing and quite a sun trap in good weather! Great location with north and south sands almost on the doorstep - an easy stroll on the way down... harder to get back, especially with buggies, as the lanes are so steep! The house was really well equipped with everything we needed. White Horses is an easy and enjoyable space to be in with young children, which is exactly what we needed. We had a wonderful holiday and made some great memories there!
