  Home from home!

  Beautiful property in an excellent position for exploring Kelso and The Borders. The apartment is amazing. Lots of beautiful touches and soft furnishings to make your stay a luxurious one. The lovely owner is on hand if you need anything…which is always reassuring. Brilliant welcome pack. Everything about the property is well done from a place to dump muddy boots, beautiful quality bed linen, towels aplenty, cushions everywhere and the best stocked kitchen we have experienced in a holiday rental. I particularly liked the abundance of lamps and lighting options, so thoughtful. It really is a property full of home comforts and luxury, the owner has a real flair for holiday rentals and has poured their heart and soul into this beautiful property. There was a farmers market in the square while we were there, we travelled to the home of Walter Scott, Abbotsford, in 30 mins and to Bamburgh Castle, 1 hour, both of which I would highly recommend. If you would like to explore Kelso and the beautiful Borders, we would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property.

  We had a fabulous stay at 2 Abbey Row.

  Contact from Karen prier to our stay & the information she gave was excellent. It became apparent that we had stayed at Karen's previous property in 2019 so we knew it would be excellent & we certainly were not disappointed . The apartment is beautifully decorated & very spacious. It has everything you need for an extremely comfortable & relaxing stay. Also exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable and there is a lovely view of the Abbey from the bedroom window. We had no problemin parking the car very close by. The apartment is very well positioned in Kelso to reach all its amenities & for exploring the surrounding areas.. Karen left a lovely welcome basket for arrival l. We would highly recommend 2 Abbey Row and hope to revisit in the future. Thank you.

  Very nice spacious flat.

  All rooms a very good size. It is very well maintained and very warm. Kelso is a pretty town and well located for exploring the Scottish borders. The town is characterised by being paved in cobbles, which is attractive. It does though increase traffic noise for the two bedrooms on the main street side. Not a massive issue, but because the rest of the town is generally quiet it is noticeable. There is parking to the rear, but it is on a very narrow road. My car got scraped by someone driving by so I learnt the hard way that you should really park in the car park or by the school. That said there are a lot of benefits to staying in the centre of town in terms of being able to walk out to bars restaurants and walk by the river, so still a very good location.

  Fantastic Apartment in a great location.

  Very impressed from the moment we entered the property. The property is spacious and finished to an exceptionally high standard and Karen has thought of everything from the soft furnishing, elegant decoration, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen to the luxurious bathrooms. The photos on Sykes do not do this property justice. The location is perfect, in the centre of Kelso with views onto the Abbey. Karen kept in touch throughout the booking in process to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and left us a lovely welcome basket too. We had a fantastic weekend and are already talking about our next visit Kelso with the intention of staying in this property. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Kelso.

  We had a very pleasant stay at 2 Abbey Row.

  The owner has an immaculate property and has thought of everything as it is very well furnished and equipped. The property was booked through Sykes and was exactly as described. It is a very cosy apartment, just off the main square in Kelso, so close to all amenities. I found absolutely no problems parking in the town and used the large car park less than a 2 minute walk from the property, although there are also spaces available directly outside on the street. Karen, the owner, is very friendly and kept in touch with me through the booking process and our stay to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. This was done in a very non-intrusive way, which made us feel very welcome in her property - Thanks for a wonderful break!
