We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Knitson Old Farmhouse garden near Corfe (details in NGS book). What a beautiful and relaxing little cottage, tastefully decorated, full of character in a lovely location with a warming fire and comfy bed. A perfect weekend to relax, unwind and recharge. We got to watch the birds fly up to the bird feeder whilst eating our breakfast. We enjoyed a great day strolling around Shaftesbury, even managing to climb up Gold Hill. Thank you for opening up your gem of a home for us to enjoy, we will definately be coming back sometime in the future.

Spacious flat in good location, clean. Not the cosiest, hard floors only and lacking any feeling of homeliness. Nice bay window at the front, but be aware all other windows face out onto walls, so not a bright property. Free on-street parking and only a 5 min walk into town. It’s a ground floor flat and there is a flat upstairs. Expect to be able to hear the upstairs neighbours if it’s occupied.

We had a wonderful stay at Jasmine Cottage, it was the perfect base to explore the surrounding area. We visited many of the Dorset towns and villages including Lyme Regis, West Bay, Sturminster Newton and Shaftsbury. We also did some great walks. Our favourite pub is The White Horse at Stourpaine. The cottage is truly idyllic and we'd love to come back for another visit in the future!
