Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. The Haven Lodge is a stunning lodge located in Mayfield, Ashbourne. You are within close proximity of a shop and the busy local pub which serves delicious home made meals. Recently transitioned into a holiday home this lodge offers cosy, self-catering accommodation for two. Made up of a living area and dining area which has comfortable sofas and TV, a kitchenette with everything you should need for your stay, a shower room and a double bedroom. Outside the property is a private and secure garden area with decking. There is a private entrance and two car parking spaces available.
Ashbourne is a fantastic town, offering an array of restaurants, pubs and cafés plus local shops. There are ample walks and trails from the town to explore, plus Alton Towers theme park being a short 15-minute drive away. The Haven is the perfect couples’ retreat to experience a little piece of relaxation within this great town.

Pleasant accommodation with contemporary decor. Comfortable bed, hot shower. However, bathroom becomes covered in condensation when using shower and takes a long time to clear. Shower tray fills like a bath and takes a long while to drain away. Kitchen was enough for our needs but would benefit from a few more items like microwave containers and splatter guard, plate and cutlery drainer. Also, more comprehensive information about local area: things to do, places to go etc. And instructions for appliances.Great to have small enclosed garden for dogs but being just off the main road made it very noisy with thunderous lorries frequently passing. If you don’t mind the noise then you’ll be ok but personally wouldn’t return.

A nice comfortable relaxing stay, in a very nice lodge, with very secure garden for our dog.The Lodge had everything you would need and a pub within 5 minutes stroll, accessed by a gate and walk across well kept field, so no need to walk dog on the main road.We celebrated our anniversary and wife's birthday while we were there and was nice to chill in the lovely garden.
