This charming large one bedroom cottage provides an ideal spot for a romantic break. Downstairs an open-plan living area includes a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area and a sitting area. Enjoy the plush seating before the 60” plasma screen TV, offering FreeSat, a Blu-ray/DVD player with a selection of DVDs to choose from, as well as a PlayStation 3 for your entertainment. The cottage boasts underfloor heating with the delight of additional heating from the woodburning stove, making this the perfect cottage for a couple who want to snuggle up after a day of exploring. For added convenience there is a cloakroom with a basin and a WC on this ground-floor.
Upstairs you will find a large double bedroom with a TV and an en-suite Jacuzzi bath with a hand-held shower attachment, basin and a WC. Outside there is a rear private artificial turf area with an enclosed patio, as well as seating and a barbecue, perfect for a summer evening, while to the front of the property is a secure gated gravel path. The ancient, picturesque and peaceful village of Chelmorton is situated in the heart of the Peak National Park. The village boasts a lovely pub which serves excellent food. Chelmorton has a fascinating historic landscape of 'fossil' arable strips enclosed within drystone walls and the village has a lovely medieval church of St John the Baptist.

A beautiful clean comfortable cottage in a peaceful village, plenty of picturesque walks and some lovely towns just a short drive away. Honestly can not find fault the most I have ever felt relaxed. Thank you

Unfortunately we were unable to visit cottage my husband was very poorly with a chest infection which he had to spend several days in bed ,Ellie the house keeper was very nice keeping up communication with us hoping that we may get a few days , this was very disappointing for us but would book again ,so I can't comment on1 primitive cottage

Facilities were good, bath was nice as we are typically shower people. Underfloor heating was nice but there were a few cold spots which caught us off guard. No issues with Internet or tv signal while we were there so we were happy about that although there were plenty of dvd choices if that had happened. Didn't use the outside space as it was the wrong time of year but that didn't bother us. Thank you
