Pre-information we received about the area was detailed and very helpful. Email indicated we’d be contacted if house was ready early on check in day. I’m the event, the access code was not received until 4.07pm but when we did enter the house it was absolutely spotless. It was also very well provisioned, eg coffee pods, tea bags, hot chocolate, fresh flowers, boxes of tissues, clingfilm, foil, etc. Wendy, the cleaner, was very friendly and on hand should we have needed her. As previous reviews, the house is small with multiple steps and low ceilings. It would be a challenge with 4 adults we felt, but was blissful for 2. Note if privacy is an issue, the furniture size in the twin bedded room means the door has to stay open by 8”. The fire is open (not a wood burner) and logs and fire starters, though no kindling, were provided. The surrounding area is beautiful and hilly, giving us wonderfully rewarding walks every day. Nice pub 100yds and lovely butchers and cafe in next village. We would not hesitate to return.
