The Retreat was exactly that, a little oasis in a beautiful location. Very well equipped and luxurious. Lovely decor and extremely relaxing. Welcome baskets were a lovely touch and looking forward to returning.

We stayed at the retreat for a relaxing weekend in the lead up to Christmas and it did not disappoint. The retreat has everything you need for a short stay away from home. We loved the welcome pack that included treats for our doggy, and a nice bottle of fizz that we enjoyed in the hot tub on a cold winter’s evening.Set in the quant little village of Nettleham with a few pubs, convenience store, cafes and more. The church by the river is picture postcard. Yet it is only a short drive into Lincoln with its stunning cathedral, castle and old quarter.Louise is an amazing host and we would definitely recommend a stay.
