Situated opposite the village green and the river, this thoughtfully converted, semi-detached cottage, provides a lovely holiday base to relax or from which to explore the area. Good walks and cycle routes are all around and with the likes of Chatsworth House, The Peak District, Mansfield, Sherwood Forest, Nottingham and Newark all within a short drive there is plenty to see and do. There is a good selection of shops in the village and with the Jug and Glass public house next door there is somewhere convenient to enjoy the local beer and food. Shop ½ mile, pub 10 yards and restaurant 4½ miles.

We had a lovely weekend staying at the Jug and Glass cottage. Very comfortable and clean with everything you could possible need. Great location in a very pretty village, excellent pub couldn't get any closer with lovely walks and lots to do in the area. Will definitely go back one day.

Lovely traditional cottage in great location. Very well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend. Situated on lovely village green next to pub. No private landing but we managed to park outside no problem. Only suggestion for improvement would be replacing the shower as that let the rest of the fabulous cottage down as not very powerful at all.
