No smoking.. Situated in the very heart of Edwinstowe, a pretty Nottinghamshire village, you will find Robin’s Nest. On entering this semi-detached house you will not be disappointed, as it has a wonderful open plan kitchen, living and dining area to greet you, along with a stunning galleried bedroom and a single room on the ground floor.
During the day you will be spoilt for choice of things to do. Find the Major Oak in Sherwood Forest, which is a short walk from the visitor centre. In addition to Rufford Country Park and Mill, the house is also close to Sherwood Pines, Clumber Park (National Trust) and Thoresby Hall. The Adrenalin Jungle is on the doorstep, with everything from archery to zorbing, or visit Lockwell Hill for quad biking, and Amen Corner for go karting. Go Ape is close by, as are Sherwood Forest Activity Centre, The Mill Adventure Base, White Post Farm and Wheelgate Park, which is a 30-acre, all-weather family theme and water park. Robin’s Nest really is a great place to stay at any time of the year! Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Absolutely fabulous ! Stayed at Robins Nest over Christmas and it was brilliant, loved the Christmas tree, decorations and Christmas stocking and treats for our dog (who loved them). Gorgeous cozy cottage in the heart of a village with plenty of independent shops, dog friendly places to eat and drink, lots of nearby walks. The cottage is first class, spotlessly clean, lovely touches with the welcome gifts of wine and biscuits, lots of condiments to use, tea, coffee etc, beautiful kitchen in which we cooked Christmas dinner. Lovely comfy beds and bedding and great shower room. Lovely outdoor space altho not really warm enough for us to use at this time of year but could imagine this being a great space when it’s warmer. Car parking for 2 cars allocated which was a great addition. All in all a fabulous place to stay and hoping to return in the new year.

I had a very pleasant stay while away on work this week. The space was clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented a real home-from-home. The host was friendly, approachable, and went the extra mile by leaving a thoughtful bottle of wine, which I enjoyed on my last evening. Id happily stay again and would definitely recommend it to others.
