A attractive and spacious Lodge with the River Eamont running beside it. With a wood burner (Sept - May only)and an enclosed garden, it lies five minutes from Pooley Bridge and the lake shore.. 5 steps to entrance.

Woodhouse Lodge has been fully renovated in 2022, is situated just ½ mile from the shores of Lake Ullswater in superb surroundings with a footpath following the river direct from this amazing property into Pooley Bridge and the Ullswater shoreline. This working farm borders the River Eamont and is close to the craggy peaks of the Lakeland fells, nearby fells include the High Street range just 1 mile and Helvellyn only 8 miles away. With local hotspots like Penrith, 6 miles and Keswick only 16 miles where you can enjoy everything from local markets, cafés and pubs, to climbing walls, swimming pools and golf.
Access is via a small, private holiday park under the same ownership. Good location for peace and quiet yet only ¼ mile walk to Pooley Bridge with shops, pubs, cafés, and steamer trips. Young children’s play area and small football pitch nearby. The Lodge is adjacent to the owner’s quiet seasonal holiday park with no letting or subletting.

Although the weather was poor Woodhouse Lodge made up for it.The lodge had everything we wanted and more. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation in going back, a lovely place.

Superb accomodation. Our second time at Hole Farm but first time at Woodhouse Lodge. Dave and Angie are so friendly and really did set up the lodge well. It is warm and comfortable and everything was provided to make it a superb holiday. An easy walk into town which has 3 lovely pubs and a great tearoom. Great walks all around. Many thanks to the owners for a great holiday!
