Guests say

Belle Vue is a quaint cottage appreciated for its comfortable furnishings, modern kitchen, and secluded garden. It's well-situated for local attractions and walks, with a lovely village pub nearby. Some guests noted the property's charm and suitability for a cosy retreat, despite a few maintenance issues.

The cottage's cleanliness is generally satisfactory, though there are mentions of mouldy sealant and peeling wallpaper, indicating room for improvement.

The location is well-regarded, with proximity to local attractions, beautiful walks, and a commendable village pub, making it a desirable spot for visitors.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, highlighting the cosy sofa and bed. However, the presence of steps and single glazing suggests it may not suit everyone's needs.

The modern kitchen is a plus, but limited food storage space and outdated crockery detract from the overall facilities. Maintenance issues like dampness and old house quirks are noted.

While a missing milk churn on arrival suggests a lapse in thoughtfulness, the absence of consistent mentions of gifts or special touches means a score cannot be accurately provided.

On 1st impression it’s a lovely little cottage.. comfy sofa and bed.. recent new kitchen..crockery needs updating as there were a few old wine glasses and not much bigger.. ( needs tumblers at least ).. bathroom wasn’t the best ..mouldy sealant around bath and wallpaper hanging off around top of ceiling and all down one wall probably because of a leak but should have been looked at .. cushions and furnishing ( lamps) need updating .. it all looks very tired and old.If you like to let your dog off lead there’s nowhere around.. lovely pub in the village.. moorcock inn .. food was reasonable and home made
