The cottage was great! Was really clean and was well equipped for you to make your own food.It felt really homely and was an amazing weekend. There are plenty of things round the cottage there is a pub up the road, Ashbourne which was a 5 minute drive with plenty of shops and near some great walks. Would definitely stay again!

A lovely cottage on the edge of farm estate. Very quiet location with lovely views over hills. Well located for exploring the area with Ashbourne, Matlock and Bakewell within easy reach. Great for walking with the Tissington and Monsal trails close by. The cottage is warm and cosy and has everything you need with parking right next to it.

Fantastic views of the countryside from all angles. Well located for the Dales and historic houses. Cottage was immaculately clean. Kitchen sink area is very confined but we managed. Could do with a few more kitchen items eg cooking oil, salt for those who prefer to cook their own meals rather than eating out extortionately badly cooked food.
