Lovely cottage in a fantastic location - we really enjoyed being able to walk straight into Bakewell. There is a lot to do in the area within easy driving distance. Although the cottage is only classified as three stars, it had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. The property is kept very clean and tidy. This was our second visit and we hope to visit again.

Another lovely visit to Melville. The location and availability of parking are excellent, minutes from the centre of Bakewell, the park and the river. Also, there are several convenient bus routes to all parts of the Peak District. The house itself is warm and comfortable and there are walks and cycle rides from the door to join the Monsal Trail.
