Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its cleanliness, cosy comfort, and the luxurious jacuzzi bath. The location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and stunning views. The property is well-maintained with modern amenities, though some guests noted a lack of basic supplies. Welcome gifts like milk and cake are mentioned, adding a touch of thoughtfulness to the stay.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotless condition. Only one mention of dust and hair slightly detracts from an otherwise impeccable record.

The location is highly regarded for its stunning views and proximity to local attractions, with easy access to walking trails and nearby villages. The closure of the local pub is a minor drawback.

Comfort is frequently praised, especially the cosy bed and the warmth of the cottage. However, a few guests mentioned an uncomfortable sofa and a firm mattress, which suggests room for improvement.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the jacuzzi bath being a highlight. Some guests noted a lack of basic amenities and kitchen equipment, and issues with the fire not being lit upon arrival.

While welcome gifts are mentioned and appreciated, they are not consistently noted across reviews, and it is not clear if they are a standard offering for all guests. Therefore, a score cannot be accurately provided.

As before the cottage is clean with everything required. Perfect for couples and a dog, and has an enclosed, private and grassed rear garden. We would like to thank you for the mattress topper provided since our last stay, the bed was very comfortable.

We did have one problem, which was the firm mattress, as my husband suffers a bad back, but this wouldn't affect us returning or recommending the cottage.
