Front garden with patio and garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . This cosy cottage has been renovated in 2022 to a very high standard, where great thought and craftmanship has gone into every aspect making it a fantastic base for your Peak District base.
The ground floor comprises of a small but adequate kitchen with dishwasher and all the equipment you should require. The sitting room offers comfortable seating, TV and wood burner effect electric fire, there is also a dining table and chairs. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor with shower over bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms, the master offering a double bed and the second bedroom has two singles. Outside there is an outhouse storing washing machine/tumbler and sink. There is parking for 1 car and an open patio area with outdoor furniture and BBQ overlooking the village.
Taddington village is in the heart of the Peak District and it has a great pub serving fantastic food within walking distance of the property. You can head out on foot on endless walks or explore the local towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Chatsworth plus lots more!

We had an absolutely fantastic trip over Christmas in this cottage. It was the perfect venue for a small family Christmas. The beds were really comfy and the layout of the cottage was snug but had everything you could want. Plenty parking on the road that was never an issue. The hosts were really nice and responsive. There is a pub a few minutes walk away with a large menu and really good food. Our wee dog loved all the local spots to walk and the dog biscuits upon arrival. Everyone in the village was really friendly and would say hi on walks. Overall 10/10 trip just wish we booked the cottage for longer!

We had a fabulous stay at the cottage. It was perfectly located for us to visit Christmas at Chatsworth House. Plus trips to Bakewell and Buxton. The accommodation was spotles and had everything you could need to self cater and have a comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend!
