Nestled in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, Peak Dreams is perfectly positioned for exploring the picturesque village of Litton, one of the Peak District's most cherished villages.

Here you'll find a welcoming country pub, ideal for a leisurely lunch or evening meal, along with a village shop offering everyday essentials and locally baked treats. Regular bus services to Bakewell and Tideswell also depart from the village centre, making it an excellent base for walkers and those wishing to explore the surrounding area. Whether you're setting out to explore the dramatic limestone dales, walk the nearby Monsal Trail, visit the charming villages of Litton, Tideswell, Eyam and Bakewell, or simply escape the pace of everyday life, the cottage provides an elegant base from which to discover the very best of the Peak District National Park.

Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the renowned Chatsworth Farm Shop are all within easy reach, while the Dark Peak, Mam Tor and Kinder Scout offer fantastic opportunities for walking and cycling.

The village of Tideswell stands in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Famous for its fine church dedicated to St John the Baptist, known as "The Cathedral of the Peak", the village is also noted for its well dressing and carnival wakes. There is excellent walking with rugged peaks to the north, gentle hills and dales to the south and Millers Dale just outside the village. Mam Tor and Castleton are only a few miles away and the popular Spa town of Buxton is within a 15 minute drive. Tideswell has many fine country inns, a chemist, butchers, bakers and much more including a convenient supermarket open daily until 10pm. The pretty little market town of Bakewell is also just a short drive away and well worth a visit.
