Guests have had a fantastic experience at The Old Mill Annexe, praising its beautiful setting, cosy atmosphere, and proximity to local amenities and attractions. The property's cleanliness and the hosts' hospitality, including welcome gifts, have been consistently highlighted. The surrounding nature and wildlife add to the charm, making it a highly recommended stay for relaxation and outdoor activities.
Reviewers consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'brilliant' and noting that everything was 'clean and tidy'. This suggests a very high standard of cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, with easy access to local villages, pubs, and attractions. The proximity to walking and cycling routes is also appreciated.
The annex is described as 'cosy and comfortable', with all necessary amenities provided. However, the mention of the toilet's location on the bottom floor suggests a slight inconvenience for some guests.
Facilities are generally good, with secure storage for bikes and extra parking. However, one guest suggested the addition of more cooking dishes, indicating room for improvement.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through welcome gifts and their willingness to assist guests. While gifts are warmly received, it's important to note that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed.

We had a fantastic stay at The Old Mill Annex. The property is in a beautiful setting and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, everything was clean and tidy and it felt very cozy. We really appreciated the welcome gifts left for us on arrival and Jacqui the owner checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is located a short walk from the village with a footpath through the neighbouring fields. We enjoyed meals in both pubs as well as coffee and cake from the tea room. There are a number of circular walks starting from the village and the house is well placed to drive to many of the Peak District’s main attractions. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the Old Mill Annex.

The annexe is located in a great village. We had a welcome pack of bread milk and alcohol. Cleanliness was brilliant. Our only criticism would be the location of the toilet being on the bottom floor. It's something we are going to make ourselves aware of in the future.
