Guests consistently praise Woodlands for its spaciousness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities, making it ideal for large groups and family gatherings. The property's cleanliness and picturesque, tranquil location in the Peak District are frequently highlighted, alongside the welcoming and helpful nature of the hosts. While minor suggestions for improvements are noted, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Reviews frequently mention the property being 'clean and tidy', 'spotless', and 'well kept', indicating a high standard of cleanliness. Only one minor comment about better welcoming packs suggests room for improvement, but it does not detract significantly from the overall perception of cleanliness.
The property is commended for its 'secluded location' that is still accessible to nearby towns and attractions. Its setting in the Peak District is described as 'beautiful and quiet', contributing to a peaceful stay. Directions are necessary as it can be 'quite difficult to find', but this does not seem to negatively impact guests' experiences.
Comfort is a standout feature, with guests appreciating the 'comfy vibe', 'proper sized bath towels', and 'comfortable beds'. The large open space and sociable layout are also mentioned as contributing to the overall comfort of the property.
The property is praised for its excellent facilities, particularly for large groups, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and ample space. Some minor issues such as a shortage of tea towels and a request for a cot mattress indicate slight room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
