  This property was exceptional! It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, beautifully presented & furnished to a high standard, no expense spared! Lovely to see everything thoughtout the property to do with local Cornish people & supplies , from art work, to coffee & tea to Eco friendly & recycleable cleaning supplies & guides, fabulous! My first photos of the holiday were of the kitchen utensils!! (Not my usual photos I may add!) They were sooooo clean, tidy & organised. Everything throughout this property had been thought of. A lovely welcome pack on arrival was a nice added touch. Location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk into the centre, if that. Be mindful though it is quite a climb back up the steep road, but this is just a small minor & if you've been to Padstow before you will be prepared for the many hilly street walks. The advertising photos for this property really do not do it enough justice. Would I stay at Gull Rock again ?... Most definitely!

  Beautiful house, clean and bright with everything you could wish for and the kitchen sink! I was really pleased to see tableware and cutlery for children, amazing! Thoughtfulness of the tea, coffee, wine and cookies on arrival as well as the milk was very much appreciated after a long journey. Only 2 negatives are that we felt the property lacked power sockets/weren't set out for ideal use. The road is VERY noisy. We were lucky with the weather so needed the windows open at night. It's a particularly busy road or at least it was on our stay. Being at the top of the hill most cars are in a lower gear to get up the hill so the noise was particularly loud. Beautifully positioned for a good walk into town. 2 of our party weren't fully fit (injuries) so they struggled to walk what a local called cardiac hill but they got the bus from across the road and we were happy to walk. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

  In general our stay in Atlantic Bay was lovely all the facilities were available to make you feel at home.

  However, 171 needs more attention to details. Cleanliness was a major issue. We were welcomed by spiders in both rooms. Cobwebs rights across the ceiling in the adult room and the kids room as well. Sofa had a lot of debris in between, so once you are sat in the sofa debris and fine sand and dirt is sucked out from the sofa. Kids were not very comfortable with spiders. I and my wife had to clean all cobwebs in both rooms just to make kids stable. Both windows in adult and kids room had mould in them. Bench on the front of the property needs replacement as it's broken and and worn out. On the whole our stay was good as we tried to make best of the situation and enjoyed the beaches around. But 171 definitely needs attention to detail and it worth to consider that the little things that is ignored are the ones that crushes business.

  The house is ideally located for walking into Padstow although beware that the walk back is up a very steep hill, but steep hills seems to be the norm throughout Padstow, so if you have mobility issues or aren't the fittest then you need to be mindful of this. The house was lovely and fitted out with very good quality items and cleaned to a good standard. It is excellent if you have dogs as the yard is very secure with a hose pipe which comes in very handy to clean off sandy dogs. There is a Tesco within walking distance of the house which we found handy and is also only a 15 minute drive from some lovely bays. I would definitely have no qualms about stopping in the house again and would also highly recommend it to anyone with a small family and those with dogs.

  This property needs some TLC mould isln every corner.

  Lumpy beds bed sheets not clean when we arrived full of stains and hair no spare sets to change. Towels are old and created bits on your skin when used. No wardrobe for clothes very minimal space not fit for 4 adults. The seats in the lounge for the dining table you are unable to sit on them designed for children or very small adults. So uncomfortable, the TV has clearly been replaced but old TV still on wall and very small compared to very well taken photos by hosts ,no WiFi at property info was given to us after booking was on original listing when booked. Key code we incorrect on original email. Seating bench outside very old and fall apart windows have water inside the double glaze no you can't look out of them. Very big shame as looked lovely on listing.
