The fairways of St Enodoc Golf Course are a must for keen golfers, yet they also provide fabulous sandy footpaths for walkers to explore, and children can run up and down the dunes that rest between the greens and the sea. On inclement days, Wadebridge is less than 6 miles distant and has a wonderful sports centre with an indoor swimming pool and hosts two theatre cinemas, showing all the current films, with occasional local interest or art house films too, and a plethora of amenities to ease your visit. With Padstow a ferry ride away, plan a trip to the National Lobster Hatchery, travel up to the golden sands of Trevone Bay, or if the weather allows, board a Sealife Safari trip for a tour of the glistening waters. Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
