Great location in a gorgeous village, with good dog-friendly pubs (although no dogs allowed in the cafe and if you want to go to the Crown and Castle with your dog, you have to book the one dog table well in advance!) It was lovely waking up to a view of the castle and the village is very friendly.

The cottage was very cosy, clean and well equipped. Comfy beds and good shower, bath. The owners were kind enough to put up a Christmas tree for us and left nice welcome gifts. Very much appreciated. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the village which offers great pubs and the butley oyster bar. We went on some lovely walks, stunning area. Had a great Xmas here.
