A very relaxing cottage, lovely views on the River. We had a week free of rain, but cool in evening and needed heating on. A good base for seeing the area, Southwold by local bus. Aldeburgh, Snape Marshes are also a must.Good Thai Restaurant in Beccles.

2nd April /8thApril this was a birthday treat and wow what a location perfect we found our happy place everything and more in the retreat that you could want nice surprise tea milk biscuits cake and Becks Fizz welcome pack it is equipped with everything you need loads of information 6 min walk to town great variety of shops pubs cafe ect bus service brilliant for getting about then back to the riverside retreat relax watch the river slide by and daily visits from kingfisher unfortunatly didn’t see the otters but maybe next time thank you for a brilliant week ❤️

Perfect location for exploring on foot and further afield by car. Accommodation has everything you could need and is in a lovely, peaceful setting right on the river. I would highly recommend it.
