A lovely peaceful riverside retreat which is just as good, if not better, than it looks in the photos! The retreat is very comfortable and well equipped with lots of little extras. The owner is very helpful and provides washing up liquid and cloths, shower gel, handwash gel and hand lotion, loo roll and kitchen towels, sugar, tea bags, a small jug of milk, salt and pepper and a cake and biscuits to welcome you. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for the comfort category is because it lacks a fan or aircon unit and I was there in the hottest record breaking week of the year! The owner is aware and is going to address this. It isn't suitable for anyone with serious mobility issues as the access is via a narrow gravel path and there are steps from the garden to the retreat, however, it is within easy walking distance to Beccles town centre, the Quay and riverside walks. I would definitely go back and stay again.
