Evenings can be spent in the sitting area with its inviting corner sofa to sink into in front of the TV, or choose from a selection of books and games before bed. Unwind in the bathroom with a relaxing soak in the tub or a quick rinse in the shower over, before catching your rest in one of two bedrooms.

Both king-size rooms have been decorated with charming artwork and furnishings, with one offering zip/link feature for flexibility, whilst the other has patio doors leading to its own little terrace for a breath of fresh air. When it's time to head out, take it easy with a stroll around the shared 2-acre field with stunning surroundings, or venture further into the hills for unforgettable vistas, walking and cycling paths, and quaint villages; follow the The Shropshire Way, The Jack Mytton Way, or the famous Offas Dyke path. You'll find pubs in the nearby villages, whilst local landmarks include Stokesay Castle, one of the finest surviving manor houses in England, and the mediaeval market town of Ludlow with events and festivals throughout the year, including the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival in September.

The small village of Aston on Clun, located in the south of Shropshire beside the River Clun, has a long history dating back to the Bronze Age and is mentioned in the Domesday Book as Esten. The Watermill, Round Houses, Court House, and Baptist Chapel, as well as a bar, The Kangaroo Inn, and a community shop, are all located in the village. The market village of Craven Arms is close by, as is the mediaeval town of Ludlow and the charming Church Stretton. This is an excellent location from which to explore all of beautiful Shropshire.

Note: House rules for dogs apply; no dogs on beds or the sofas, bring your own dog bed(s) and bowls etc, dogs can roam freely in the gated patio area but must be on leads in the garden and in the field, all dog poo must be picked up and placed in the dog poo bin.

Note: The owner's dog, Bruno, a Pattedale terrier, is quite anxious around other dogs until he gets to know them so please give him a little space
