Large farmhouse with hot tub (at cost) on a small farmstead with far reaching views across open countryside. . Ground Floor:
Living room: With wood burner, TV and beams.
Sitting room: With wood burner and double sofa bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements).
Kitchen/dining room: With breakfast bar, range with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, slow cooker, wine cooler, dishwasher, coffee machine, beams and French doors leading to patio.
Utility room: With washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedroom 1: With double bed, single bed and en-suite with shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: With double bed and en-suite with shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

Bedroom 4: With double bed.
Bathroom: With bath, double shower, toilet and heated towel rail.. Oil central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burners included. Hot tub for 6 (private) at cost, £100 per week, short breaks pro-rata. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.. The Farmhouse is a spacious family home set on a small farmstead with the owners living on-site and surrounded by open country side on the edge of the stunning Yorkshire Wolds. This holiday home which has been recently renovated by the current owners provides excellent accommodation for a large family or group of friends to celebrate spending time together with the added luxury of a large hot tub (at cost). The Farmhouse offers a host of modern amenities yet retains many old world charms including stone floors, feature brick walls and oak beams. There is more than enough space to relax on an evening with two sitting rooms, both of which have large sofas sat in front of wood burners, just perfect for an evening in front of the TV watching your favourite holiday movie. The large kitchen/dining room with hand made, spacious units will be the heart of this family home, it is flooded with natural light from French doors which lead out onto the patio area. A central island with built in wine fridge and granite work tops provides additional seating and the large range cooker is nestled into a brick alcove. The large dining table sits to one side and is perfect to enjoy a family breakfast or a celebration evening meal. Also on the ground floor is a well equipped utility room, separate toilet and pantry. A beautiful period staircase takes you up to the first floor where you will find four very well appointed bedrooms, two of which offer en-suite facilities and bath robes for our guests and some of which offer extensive views over open countryside. A large house bathroom with free standing bath and double shower completes the accommodation. Outside the property is a patio with large hot tub (at cost) and garden furniture. The lawned area provides plenty of space for the younger members of the family to enjoy a kick about.
Step outside and the pretty market town of Pocklington is within walking distance - 1 mile down a private road or footpath. Here you will find a plethora of independent shops, cafés, delis and restaurants. For those looking to enjoy the surrounding countryside there are miles of public footpaths and cycle routes including the famous Wolds Way. The Pocklington Canal also offers excellent birdwatching opportunities. A little further afield is the historic city of York and up market town of Beverley, you can spend a day at the races in both cities! The stately homes of Castle Howard, Sledmere House and Burnby Hall, home to the national collection of water lilies are also within a short drive. The east coast towns of Hornsea, Bridlington and Filey are also within easy reach. This well placed Pocklington holiday home offers the perfect base for your holiday in the unspoilt East Riding of Yorkshire.
The Farmhouse can be booked together with Martin Cottage (UK32941) to accommodate up to 14 guests.
Hot tub (private), available on request, at cost of £60 for a 3 night stay, £70 for a 4 night stay, £100 for a week stay. This is payable to the owner direct.
