Or in the other direction, Brigg has shallow rock pools just waiting to be discovered, and is great for those with younger guests.
Other attractions in the area include the rspb Bempton Cliffs Seabird Centre, where you can catch a glimpse of a variety of seabirds, or travel north up the coast to spend some time in Scarborough, home to the Sea Life Centre, Alpamare UK and Scarborough Castle, offering something for all ages.
