The refurbished former School House (Ref ISR) oozes charm and character and the School Annexe (Ref ISS) is single-storeyed. The detached holiday properties are surrounded by glorious woodland walks and activities such as mountain and cross country biking, fishing and horse riding are all available. Take the Dalby Forest Drive to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Elegant Scarborough is 10 miles, the historic port of Whitby is 20 miles - both offer sandy beaches. There is easy access to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the ancient walled city of York; a short drive to Flamingo Land theme park and zoo. Shops 8 miles, pubs 5 miles.

We had a lovely stay so very peaceful and everything you need. Cottage could do with an update. Owners very helpful when we had a problem with the key and got it sorted super quick.
