The Beachcomber is a well-received cottage praised for its cleanliness, tranquil location by the seafront, and comfortable amenities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including welcome provisions and comprehensive local information. It's ideal for relaxation, with easy access to walks, golf, and historical sites.
Reviewers unanimously commend the cottage's cleanliness, often describing it as spotless and well-presented, indicating exceptional standards of hygiene and tidiness.
The property's proximity to the seafront and tranquil setting is highly appreciated. Its location is ideal for peaceful walks and enjoying the scenery, although one mention of weak broadband suggests a slight deduction.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, highlighting the quality of the beds and the absence of trip hazards. The property is also described as light and airy, contributing to a restful atmosphere.
The cottage is well-equipped with essentials and extras, including a washing machine and unlimited WiFi. However, a suggestion for an additional coffee table and a mention of occasionally weak broadband signal slightly affect the score.
The owners' thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of welcome items such as bread and milk, and a wealth of local information. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, it's noted that such offerings may vary and are not guaranteed.

The twin villages of Inverallochy and Cairnbulg together form a wonderfully atmospheric location with narrow streets and alleys, which remind you of times past when the area was home to fishermen and every cottage had its own boat pulled up outside. Today the locals still make use of the washing lines on the shore to dry their laundry in the sea breeze.

The magnificent Northern Lights are often seen in winter here as there is little light pollution, and the long days of summer enable visitors to fully enjoy their surroundings. Take a walk along Fraserburgh’s beach and harbour or a visit to Kinnaird Castle and Museum of Scottish Lighthouses, while further along the coast, nature lovers can get up early to watch pink-footed geese take off with the rising winter sun. Golfers can enjoy a round on one of the many courses within close proximity, with Inverallochy itself boasting a course where every hole looks out onto the North Sea. Boat trips can be arranged from Fraserburgh Harbour to get up close to the extensive marine life in these waters, including dolphins, minke whales, porpoises and gannets. The cleanest of cottages and so near the seafront, just a few feet out through the back gate. Very quiet and well laid out. We couldn't fault it as suited us and my elderly mother as was a bungalow and a separate shower. Brenda gave us an email with directions and instructions and was willing to answer any queries we had

A well appointed cottage in a tranquil setting close to the seafront. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again in the future.

This is a lovely cottage, beautifully clean and well presented, it has everything you need for your stay, with bread, milk and spread in the fridge ready for your arrival. There is a lovely walk along the shore less than a minute away from the cottage. The local golf course is 5 minutes away and well worth playing. There are plenty of castles to visit not too far away. Duff house in Banff is well worth a visit. We enjoyed our week and cannot fault the cottage or the owners.
