This period, single-storey holiday property looks out across the Solway Firth with beautiful views of The Lake District and Scotland’s second oldest lighthouse. The cottage is set in a stunning position and enjoys uninterrupted views of the sea. The living room features a Smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime (via guests’ own accounts).
Situated in the heart of 7Stanes mountain biking country, this is an ideal location from which to explore castles, abbeys, mansions and ruins, or the Machars Peninsula and the Galloway Hills. The cottage is very close to rspb Mersehead and WWT Caerlaverock is easily reached for a day out. In fact, the whole area is great for wildlife, much of which can be spotted from the cottage including otters, porpoises, thousands of barnacle geese in the winter and much more. The famously challenging Southerness championship links course is a five minute walk away.
