About this property
A lovely, detached seaside cottage, in a secluded woodland setting, in the village of Llansteffan, Carmarthenshire. This cosy cottage is within about 100 yards of the beach, even some locals do not know of its existence! With just a small number of other properties, it is in a very peaceful location. With two bedrooms, a shower room and an open plan living area, it is perfect for the smaller family to enjoy a seaside holiday. Make up a picnic to take on your days out away from the cottage, or sit on the covered veranda and enjoy a morning coffee or dine alfresco after a busy day out exploring the area. Stroll to the beach, make a few sandcastles, fly a kite, launch a small boat or stroll a little further to the busier side of the beach to the seaside cafe. Local attractions beckon too, and there are days for a spot of shopping, a steam railway ride, theme parks to visit or experience a dry ski slope. Alternatively, a race day at Ffos Las is a must or a visit to Dylan Thomas' boathouse. This lovely cottage is in an ideal location all year round.
Llansteffan is a lovely seaside village with its own castle ruins, post office, general store and pub serving local food. Just a short journey takes you to the county town of Carmarthen with numerous shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, and a daily market.

Note: Access to property is via unmade stone track directly next to the shoreline and is absolutely not accessible in low suspension cars and great care to be taken in all vehicles.
