We had a truly wonderful stay at Cae Gwenlais Escapes – Y Gwairdy. From the moment we arrived, Ainsley and Michelle were absolutely fabulous hosts — welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. The home-made mince pies were such a lovely touch and set the tone for the whole stay.The accommodation itself is beautiful: spotless, cosy, and finished to a very high standard, with everything you could possibly need. The surrounding grounds are simply stunning, peaceful, and perfectly maintained, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind.It’s clear how much love and attention Ainsley and Michelle put into every detail. We couldn’t recommend Y Gwairdy highly enough and will most definitely be returning.

We stayed for a week, on our first holiday with our 7 month old pup. Honestly Y Gwairdy was simply perfect. It has everything you need to feel at home, and you can tell that thought and care has been put in to help you have a stres free stay. Dog friendly, two enclosed fields to let the pooch off lead and roam. Hosts Ainslie and Michelle were so welcoming and friendly, helped us feel at ease with our excitable pup! The gardener is a nice chap too - help him out by keeping your dogs out of the flower beds :) Location is beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing, with local town nearby for the esentials if you need. We spent a lot of time going on walks, sight seeing (especially castles!) its a perfect base for this, its in a beautiful part of the country so Id say get out there and appreciate it :) we had a few down days on site which we spent having time in the pool and relaxing, which was a lovely luxury. Im really not sure how this place could be any better. Thank you both x

This place is amazing! It's beautiful - and in such great surroundings. Everyone is really friendly and couldn't be more accommodating. It is a perfect set up for doggos - enclosed fields for them to run around, outdoor shower and grooming for muddy paws, treat jars, balls etc. the property itself is really well set up with everything you could need. We loved the bath and the log burner. We would definitely return - thank you for a great stay!
