This fabulous barn has been restored to a very high standard with a contemporary feel. Nestled at the foothills of the prominent Black Mountain Range of the Brecon Beacons National Park and the magical glacial lake of Llyn y Fan Fach, which makes for a great walk. If it’s wildlife you are looking for then head over to the the Red Kite feeding station and watch the magnificent kites and buzzards. If you are seeking an adrenaline rush then bring along your mountain bikes and explore the mountains on two wheels, or head over to the Usk Reservoir and take in the breathtaking views. Other nearby attractions include the spectacular Carreg Cennen Castle, Newton House at Dinefwr Park Estate where Fallow Deer roam and the Botanical Gardens of Wales. The ancient market towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery offer lovely cafés, restaurant and many boutique shops. After a day of adventure, enjoy the barns own private hot tub where you can relax and stargaze. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.

Beautiful barn in a beautiful place. Unfortantly due to to a emergancy had to leave early but we are looking forward to rebooking. The barn is spacious clean and overall amazing place we loved the black board inside with ideas of what to visit. Local shops are 20 minutes away but perfect for getting that quite adventure.

On arrival there was a nice welcome basket. The place was very clean but someone had left the underfloor heating on and it was so hot it was uncomfortable. The downstairs double room was constantly too hot even though everything was turned off heating wise and doors were left open. Also in the upstairs en-suite there was a permanent smell of damp even with windows left open. I think that maybe there is a leak of water underneath the shower. We did find the little one car space on the roads leading to the property quite hard to navigate at times.There was a nice hot tub that we didn't use as weather was too warm.Although lovely property would not book again I'm afraid.

I cannot stress enough how fabulous this cottage was. We do not pack light and bought absolutely everything with us. There was no need! This cottage has everything, from plentiful cling film and loo roll, to a fab hot tub. We arrived in a heatwave -fans were set up and on in all rooms. Handy freezer in the laundry room for ice and ice creams. The only very minor negative was that the WiFi wasn’t up to Netflix’s required speed, but as they had a dvd player and we bought our own dvds it wasn’t a bother! Also, there aren’t any shaver socket points so remember your adapters if you want to charge your shaver or electric toothbrush. The list of things to do nearby was epic… we did the first 5 on the list, all highly recommended. I would return without question… lush!
