Guests say

Awel-Y-Mor in Aberaeron is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, cosy warmth, and excellent location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, peaceful garden, and proximity to the town and beach. The property is described as a great base for exploring mid-west Wales, with a thoughtful touch of a welcome hamper during the festive season.

Reviewers consistently mention the property being 'spotlessly clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to their overall experience.

The location is frequently highlighted as 'great' and 'perfect', near the town and beach. However, some guests note difficulty with parking and traffic noise, slightly affecting the score.

The property is described as 'warm & cosy' and 'comfortable', with comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. The mention of traffic noise affecting sleep slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a 'well-equipped' kitchen and 'plenty of hot water'. Maintenance work on the harbour and the mention of only one fan during a hot period suggest room for improvement.

While guests mention a generous welcome hamper and Christmas decorations, there are not enough references to consistently assess thoughtfulness across all stays. It's important to note that such personal touches, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

What a wonderful house, perfectly made to welcome us and ensure we enjoyed every moment of our week away. The weather was classic Welsh – sunny one minute, raining the next – but it didn’t matter at all. We loved the house, the location, the garden, the town, and exploring the wider beauty of mid-west Wales. The house itself was warm and very cosy, and the kitchen was ideal for cooking and sharing relaxed evening meals. There were absolutely no faults – everything was wonderful in every way. The owners clearly go the extra mile to make sure guests have a truly relaxing and memorable break.
