Experience the charm of our 1962 Airstream Tradewind with a private deck and a Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub boasting breathtaking views of the Preseli Hills.

The Airstream blends modern comforts with original features, including a hand-painted bathroom mural. It's fully self-sufficient with hot/cold water, a shower, toilet, kitchen, and mains electric. Step onto the private deck with a firepit, dining area, and outdoor kitchen for amazing sunsets and the possibility of cloud blankets in the valley. The wood-fired hot tub at the rear offers undisturbed views of the Milky Way on clear nights.

THE BUS (Mobile Home)

Our Vintage 1963 AEC Reliance Bus as Featured on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces has recently returned from a European Tour and is now available to enjoy in the idyllic hillsides of West Wales. Experience the charm of living in a 'rolling home', nestled in peaceful surroundings with valley views and big skies.

The Bus has been lovingly restored from a rusty rotten shell to a light, airy comfortable tiny home, whilst retaining many of original unique features and your own private decking area with firepit and BBQ.

Hello, we're Stuart and Amy, the proud owners of Tin Can Retreat. Our passion for adventure, discovering new places, and vintage vehicles has driven us to create an extraordinary experience that we want to share with you.

With three exquisite spaces available, including a 1962 Airstream Tradewind imported from Alabama, a 1963 Vintage bus, and our latest addition, a Spartan Imperial Mansion from Texas, we've lovingly updated each one to meet modern standards.

Our journey began when we purchased a bus on eBay, pouring two years of hard work and dedication into transforming it into the remarkable home you see today. The conversion was even featured on 'George Clarke's Amazing Spaces,' praised as a "big, beautiful, and very comfortable home on wheels," perfect for creating lifelong memories.

Our love for Airstreams ignited during a stay at Joshua Tree National Park in 2019. Inspired by the remote location, enchanting night skies, and the Americana cool of the trailer, we envisioned bringing this captivating experience to the UK.

In 2021, fate led us to a fortuitous encounter with Farmer Gordon, setting the stage for the realization of our dream, which we affectionately named Tin Can Retreat. Our time spent at Capel Tygwydd allowed us to uncover hidden gems and gather exciting ideas, all of which we've compiled in a guidebook for your stay.
