Milkwood Lodge is situated adjacent to a woodland, just a short stroll away from the main Haven site with access to all it's facilities but with that relaxing feeling of being slightly away from it all.
The site at 'Milkwood Way', just off the Cei Bach beach lane, is Quay Wests brand new, 5 star site created for 2020.
You can follow the wooded lane to the lovely natural cove at Cei Bach or follow the woodland path from the main site directly onto the sand of Newquay's big beach. Named after the radio drama by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, 'Under Milk Wood', with much of his work inspired by New Quay where this lodge sits, this property is perfect for those seeking a relaxed escape to the coast of Wales. Park up right outside the property before making your way up the four steps onto your very own private veranda, the perfect spot to soak up your idyllic surroundings with your loved ones, enjoying a tasty tipple or two. Enter the central heated open-plan living space and if needed flick on the electric fire in the winter months to bring a homely aura to the room, the inviting corner sofa offering enough room for everyone to snuggle up around the Smart TV, or take a seat at the dining table where you can enjoy a lovingly prepared meal. The kitchen hosts all you could need for a self-catered stay, with a supermarket, pub and restaurant on site too to assist you with all of your culinary requirements. Moving through the lodge you can find the two bedrooms, made up of a master king-size with its own en-suite basin and WC and a twin room with two 2'6" singles, both bedrooms being served by the family shower room and offering plenty of storage. The site on which the property sits is adjacent to the main amenities and a short cut though will take you to the full range on offer. Follow the woodland walk down to the beautiful beach where you can enjoy a day of soaking up the sun and safe swimming where you're sure to create everlasting memories with your loved ones, as well as being sure to take in the exceptional views over Cardigan Bay, the harbour and the Irish Sea; a romantic backdrop all year-round. Venture further into the seaside town of New Quay to be met by even more eateries to take your pick from, maybe a morning coffee and hot croissant at the Deli, or traditional fish and chips and watch the dolphins from the harbour wall, or later a meal at the Bistros or traditional pubs. Explore the area in a different way with a boat trip out to sea where you can spot bird life, seals and even dolphins, while the adventure seeker will delight at the opportunities for sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and power boating.
