Situated upon Woodlands Park Resort, just outside New Quay in Ceredigion is Moonshine, a wonderful single-storey lodge ideal for a family getaway.

The lodge benefits from off-road parking for up to two vehicles and is accessed via steps. Entering into the property, you will find a stylishly furnished open-plan living space with plush seating, a Smart TV, an electric fire, a dining table for four, and a sleek kitchen, housing all the necessary appliances.

There is a double bedroom with Smart TV and an en-suite with shower, plus a twin bedroom with en-suite access into the main bathroom / shower room.

Enjoy your nature-filled environment by dining alfresco, relaxing upon the decked veranda with a glass of wine in hand. The environment is peaceful and nurturing, filled with the sound of birdsong and the gentle ripple of the nearby stream. The veranda is wonderful for catching the afternoon and evening sun and if you enjoy star gazing, you’ll be in for a treat with wide un-polluted skies above.

Moonshine sits surrounded by woodland, in a secluded corner of the park. Its enviable tucked-away position affords occupants a delicious mix of peacefulness combined with access to the on-site facilities, including a welcoming doggy boutique, as well as gorgeous woodland walks available right from your door.

Awaken to an itinerary brimming with activities, beginning with a visit to Llain Activity Centre, where you can kayak or try your hand at paddleboarding, before enjoying a coastal stroll along Cei Bach Beach and the breath-taking 60-mile-long Ceredigion coastal paths, featuring the beautiful landscape of Tresaith Waterfall and the golden sandy terrain of Penbryn. Guests can visit the charming Aberaeron Harbour, build sandcastles and even go crabbing. Once you reach New Quay, visit the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre, or discover the New Quay Honey Farm, showcasing bee exhibitions, led by a team with over 25 years of experience. Wildlife lovers will be spoilt by the numerous wildlife spotting boat trips along the Heritage Coast from New Quay, frequently visited by dolphins and seals.

Younger visitors will be kept happy with a visit to the Moody Calf play barn or one of the family friendly farm parks, and for those who enjoy culture why not visit the National Trust Georgian manor house at Llanerchaeron, designed by John Nash, the National Wool museum, or just sit back and relax on one of the steam engine railways in the area?

Named the “Best seaside town in Wales” in the 2022 Which?survey, the picturesque Georgian town of Aberaeron is only 4 miles away, famous for its harbour and colourful houses. With numerous boutiques and restaurants to suit all budgets, it is a fantastic place to enjoy traditional fish and chips, locally made honey ice cream and watch the world go by.

The well-liked Welsh village of Llanarth, which is close to the coast of Cardigan Bay, has a friendly bar, a shop that is modest but well-stocked, as well as a farm shop/butcher that sells local fare. Llanarth's location on the main A487 coast road provides access to a wide range of destinations. Several beaches, fishing lakes, the regency harbour town of Aberaeron, and fantastic walking and cycling trails are all nearby and only a short drive away. Only three miles away is the well-known oceanfront harbour town of New Quay, where you may experience a classic seaside atmosphere and possibly locate the day's catch for sale. In New Quay, visitors may enjoy lovely boutiques, tea rooms, ice cream stores, fish and chip restaurants, dolphin viewing, and boat rides. This is the ideal spot for any kind of vacation you're looking for because of the stunning Cardigan coastline and the inland grandeur of the Cambrian Mountains and Preselli Hills.
