This elegant little stone cottage invites you to unplug from everyday life and enjoy the truly superb location. Situated in a row of 3 stone cottages, amongst the oldest cottages in the village of Llanddewi Brefi which has 2 warm and welcoming inns within 5 minutes’ walk, both serve food. The area will delight outdoor enthusiasts with all sorts of activities to try, including walks and cycle routes, with plenty starting from the cottage, and mountain biking opportunities nearby.
Step inside this stylish cottage and you’ll immediately feel at home thanks to the warm and welcoming décor. There are two deep, comfy sofas in the living room, gathered around a wood burner with a basket of logs ready and waiting. Plus, an area to work at the handy office desk if you need it. The kitchen has a country cottage feel, but modernised with ceramic worktops, pale pink units and beams crossing the ceiling. A full range of modern appliances makes cooking here a pleasure. With an open plan, dining, living and kitchen area the space is perfect for gathering and catching up on the day’s events.
Upstairs, the two double bedrooms are relaxing spaces with exposed brick, beams and chic colour palettes. There’s a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a lavish rainfall shower head. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room too. You’ll find sumptuous beds with crisp white linen and fluffy bath towels waiting for you. Look out of the windows when you wake up and take in the views. There are gardens, with benches, front and back so you can catch the sun at any time of day.
The village is awaiting the opening of a community-run shop which will open three days a week.
Tregaron is 3 miles away and has a good range of shops and eating places, as well as a traditional sheep market once a month. Just outside the town the Cors Caron Nature Reserve is set on a vast wetland site and is home to over 170 species of birds. A 35-minute drive will bring you to the fantastic Ceredigion coastline with its beaches, dolphin-watching boat trips, the town of Aberystwyth with its cliff railway, pier and long promenade and the attractive Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, famous for its honey ice cream. For a more leisurely activity, there are plenty of historic houses, castles, and abbeys to discover and several excellent distilleries and breweries. Beach 16¼ miles.

This was a gem of a find. A beautiful cottage perfectly placed for what we needed, off roading on the strata Florida! The cottage was well kitted out and lovely and warm when it was freezing outside. The cottage has been renovated so well its stunning and clean and tidy. Its bigger than it looks on the photos, plenty of space for 4 adults. The garden is a great size too. Would highly recommended.

Fantastic host, very thoughtful and attentive. Myself, husband, three year old and our Labrador had a lovely 2 night stay. It was during Storm Claudia, and we did lose power for a couple of hours, but the cottage had candles, firelight and a hefty charged up torch 🔦 so it was really no problem. The cottage is outfitted with everything you could possibly need or think of - and it was a fantastic mini break for some overworked and tired parents!!! Would highly highly recommend!! We went to Hafod Estate, where we visited before years ago, but returned and thoroughly enjoyed, as well as Cors Caron (wrap up warm on a witner's day!) and Cwm Berwyn stepping stones walk at Holy Well. The dog was exhausted and happy to flop in front of the ample fire at the end of the day.

Beautiful, comfy and so quiet. Absolute value for money. Really spacious and easy to follow instructions to get in. Host was lovely and friendly. Will definitely be back!
