About this property

Just under a mile from Aberdaron's village centre, Geufron Barn is ideally situated with a great beach, lovely cafes, pubs and local shops all within walking distance.

Sit out on the patio and take in the spectacular views across Aberdaron Bay from this lovingly-restored 4-bedroom barn with large, open kitchen/dining area, cosy snug room with roaring log burner and whimsical twin bedroom that's accessed via paddle stairs. Two of the three king bedrooms offer flexible sleeping options and the other features the luxury of an en suite shower room. The property itself is around 20 minutes' walk from the centre of Aberdaron's former fishing village and wonderful mile-long beach (dog-friendly from Apr-Sept) where you'll also find some great cafes and shops. The village is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (aonb) so there are some truly fantastic sights to behold along the coastal paths as well as seasonal boat trips to Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) to spot some of the local wildlife.

Lovely place, comfortable and well fitted with all the home comforts.

Beautiful property in lovely location. Great garden with views yo Aberdaron bay and great for a BBQ. Bed was not very comfy ( 2nd room from end) and only 7 medium plates when 8 were staying. Could have done with a teapot, a few bin liners and bowl for salad etc ( so only 4 for comfort) Otherwise excellent!

Hi. The property was excellent and the location was stunning. Very good value for a high quality property. Absolutely hit the spot in almost every way. The small gripes we had were a couple of the mattresses were a little hard. My shoulders were pretty stiff by the end of the week. It would also have been useful to have had some more washing and dishwasher tablets plus some basics like salt and pepper, bin bags, soap, tea/coffee. Maybe even a loaf of bread etc. Obvs it's self catering but a couple of things upon arrival would be nice. Bin bags missing was a bit annoying as these would just help us keep the place tidier and neater. We had 3 toddlers with us so we filled up the bin pretty quickly. I would also say the hoover attachment should be replaced as it's broken and just falls off when used. Again, that's just so we can help keep things tidy. One final thing would be to perhaps find a way to reiterate to people about the recycling. The family before us failed to sort out their recycling properly so we had no space for our stuff and I had to take all their recycling out and re-sort it. Not a biggie, I guess some people just don't read the info. All in all, fantastic property, great company to book through and yeah I'm going to bore my friends rigid for the next few months telling them how magical that part of Wales is. Thanks Giles
