The Pembrokeshire coast footpath that runs for 186 miles is also accessible on foot from your cottage. The village of Goodwick boasts shops, restaurants, and pubs, be sure to visit the Ocean Lab Aquarium on the harbour. Enjoy a trip to the famous city of St David’s, Britain’s smallest city, at the most westerly point of Wales and the final resting place of the Patron Saint of Wales. Adjacent to the cathedral stands the 13th-century Bishop’s Palace, a truly magnificent sight.
Further along this north coast, you will uncover the fishing village of Porthgain and a delightful restaurant that specialises in local, freshly caught sea fish and overlooks the harbour. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a fun day out for all the family and is located only 45 minutes away, or for those with younger families, be sure to visit Folly Farm Zoo where you can see rhinos, giraffes, and even lions!

We had a fantastic stay at Bwythyn Cudd. Totally secluded garden house with lots of space. Very peaceful surroundings, easy to get around, some great coastal walking paths nearby. St Davids is only a 30 min drive away. The jacuzzi is a plus after a day of walking. Would highly recommend!

I asked my husband to find a cottage in the woods, that felt like the middle of nowhere but was close to things we could do. It was a big birthday for me and I am also 6 months pregnant, so wanted something relaxing. Seemed impossible but this place was perfect. It really does feel like you're tucked away in the woods but in reality, the harbour is 5 mins away. The place was lovely, clean and private. We did a few days out (New Quay about an hour away, Tenby about the same) but in all fairness, it would be a lovely hideaway if that's what you prefer. Kids loved the hot tub and the space outdoors. I would highly, highly recommend. Royal Oak had lovely food and great service and even managed find a takeaway to deliver one night. Would very happily return.

A nicely positioned cottage in a quiet village, no night-time light or noise pollution. Lovely owners and very helpful and responsive (especially with the hot tub!). Roughly 30-60 minute drive to plenty of beaches and family attractions like St Davids, Pembroke Castle and Folly Farm.Didn't need to bring anything other than a scrubbing brush as all else included, including a full set of enormous bath sheets.Hot tub was a firm favourite every day with the kids and the owners manage the chemical levels daily for you if you want.All in all, a lovely break, very glad we booked and would strongly consider returning again in the future.
