Incredible apartment, great location. Walking distance to station, and Seven Dials is a great area to stay in. The apartment was set up well to live in for a prolonged period, with good kitchen, desks to work from, very comfortable sofa, good tv, good WiFi and smart devices. Airhost are also very good to deal with. The reason this wasn’t a 5* is the mattress and pillows were not at all firm (the mattress sagged meaning we sank into the middle of the bed) and we actually went and bought firmer pillows after first night. We were informed after we left the bed was broken, so I assume this contributed to mattress feeling soft and may well be fixed. Also bear in mind that although the bathroom is stunning, there is no stand up shower.

Nicest Airbnb I've ever stayed in. it's a beautifully presented home (that people actually live in, like the good old days of Airbnb) with every facility you could possibly need. Extremely cosy, perfect for a relaxing weekend off. I love the Google home sound system / lighting / heating tablets - going to have to get some myself when I stop nomading about. Fully stocked kitchen with oils and spices and a blender! Amazing bath and bathroom with toiletries. It's even nicer than the photos. And huge thanks to the host company (Jessica especially) for being so responsive and helpful all weekend. Highly recommend the area too, Seven Dials is really cool. Thanks all :)

Swaledale is a beautiful area, with good walking straight from the accommodation.
Town facilities are a fair distance away, although there is a small shop in Muker, the next village. The apartment was perfect for two, with comfortable seats in the living room and queen size comfortable bed. The proprietors were very welcoming and helpful, with wine, milk, and biscuits provided on arrival. Donât rely on eating in their restaurant, though. You may be able to sometimes, but they are not open every evening. The bar is available downstairs. So we mostly cooked in the apartment. If the proprietor would like to make one small improvement, a shelf above the washbasin in the en suite would be useful.

We had a lovely weekend stay here for my other half’s birthday, such beautiful interior design - the kitchen and the living room were my fave ? easy to use smart system to turn up heating and turn on/off lights. Very comfortable bed too! We normally stay more central but we liked how close this was to the station (despite the hills lol, get a cab if you have suitcases!) and we liked being away from the hustle and bustle. Only thing is you can hear upstairs kids quite easily as it’s an older house, downstairs could hear us easily too. Not an issue but worth considering if you want pure peace and quiet!

gorgeous place, highly recommend. incredibly well equipped - never have I stayed at an Airbnb with truffle oil in the cupboards before! and the smart home lighting system was fun. the tv is higher quality than mine at home, the decoration is nice and quirky, feels like a proper Brighton home. great communication from the hosts. the garden get some lovely sun in the morning. slightly outside of central Brighton but it's really easy to get everywhere still. and nice and quiet. do yourself a favour and make a 15 minute walk to either stoney point or 17 grams for some exquisite coffee
