  We have just returned from a week's holiday at Sea Glass in Carbis Bay.

  ... what a gorgeous apartment....and the balcony is fantastic, just a shame we didn't have the weather to use it to its best advantage....apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring the delights of Cornwall.... Gannet Inn and La Casita served gorgeous food.... Just a couple of things that we feel would make the apartment 100% perfect: * a wardrobe in bedroom 2.... we were 4 adults and had to share 1 wardrobe * small selection of condiments, salt, pepper, oil, ketchup/brown sauce etc (even if these are 'sachets') * a lamp in the window near the corner sofa to create 'ambiance' (the reading lamp is stunning, I've even bought the same shade) * the hoover looked as thought it had not been emptied since it was bought, was VERY compacted and took 2 of us 30 mins to scrape out!! It's evident that the cleaners don't check this either! * Pegs. I understand why there is only a maiden, but pegs are needed to keep clothes on the maiden when placed on the balcony These are not items that would stop us from staying again, but are 'inexpensive' fixes for the owner to create the perfect place.

  A truly beautiful cottage with perfect facilities for four guests- without the usual struggles for a shower in the morning!

  The washing machine and tumble dryer was a great bonus and it was great to come home with no dirty washing! Excellent facilities in the utility room. Nice for us all to sit round the table for dinner. Kitchen very well equipped - maybe a little bit too much! Maybe empty a cupboard for food storage, but that’s a minor thing. Beds were clean and very comfortable and we all slept better than we had in ages. Lady phoned us early to say the cottage was ready and was flexible about check out - especially when one of us lost their glasses and had to pop back. Only reason not a 5 for accuracy is the outdoor area isn’t particularly private- it’s across the small car park. One thing to bear in mind is there’s quite a short, but steep slope down to the entrance to the cottage, plus four steps up to the door. I have arthritis but managed it, but someone less able may struggle. Hand rail down the slope would help. Overall- excellent! Will be booking again :) Thank you!

  Great location in St Agnes with lots of cafes/pubs in walking distance and a lovely beach just 15 mins walk away.

  Make sure to check tide times before heading down as no beach at high tide. Also a good base for visiting the many other local beaches a short drive away. Cottage was perfect for a family of 4 plus 2 dogs. It would be a squeeze for 6. Nice to have 2 bathrooms and a hosing area for dogs. Beds were extremely comfy and we all slept well. Really strong wifi and smart tv so we could log into Netflix to watch films on an eve. TV only 32 inch and would definitely benefit from a larger screen size as room could easily take it. Well stocked kitchen. Property mostly clean but table was sticky (possibly from spray) and bathroom cabinets not cleaned. Otherwise, all to acceptable standard. Note that the garden is up steep steps and is tiered. Not the best if you have a puppy who shouldn’t go up/down steps yet or an elderly dog suffering mobility issues. Otherwise it is a nice suntrap with table and chairs.

  This is a really nice, well specked cottage that I would guess has recently been decorated with new carpets.

  There is really little to fault. Ok you do have to walk across your own private parking spot (25 feet) to get to the garden table which frankly is no great shakes. The table gets the sun from late morning all the way through to the evening, ideal for a sundowner! The cottage is located on the very edge of the town centre, less than 1 minute walk from the top of the Main Street where you will find an abundance of shops and restaurants (suggest you try and rebook these) and 10 minutes from the ‘dock’ area. It is set back off the main road and very quiet. We did a couple of trips on the open top bus, a great way to see the area and very cheap at about £5 for a hop on hop off service. Highly recommend this place.

  This is a lovely apartment in a beautiful part of Cornwall.

  It is only a short walk down to the beach at Carbis Bay and we walked to St Ives a few times too. St Ives has plenty of places to eat and also has a lovely beach. We drove to a couple of National Trust places within 30 mins...St Michael's mount is very impressive. The apartment in spacious and comfortable; it had everything we needed for the week with our two children. Main bedroom is en suite with another bathroom across from the other bedroom. Small issue was noise transference from the apartment above us...thumping footsteps across the ceiling at night. Tescos just down the rd in a ten minute walk....huge supermarkets a short drive towards Penzance. We also visited Healys cyder farm.
