The brochure stated that the garden was fully enclosed, which it wasn't.
We chose this property because we were taking our son, daughter in law and to energetic grandsons ages 3 years and 17 months with us. The enclosed garden was one of the deciding factors. The property itself had been lovingly restored and was positioned close to the beach and playground. The problem was that the owner was in the process of having various work done resulting in the garden resembling a bit of a building site. The furniture and fittings were of good quality but the dining room chairs were too low, there were no hooks in the shower room or the bedrooms so we were unable to hang up towels, coats etc in the rooms. the patio was lovely but there was only enough seating for two people when the cottage was for 6. Overall we enjoyed the cottage and the location. I have informed the owner and he is going to change and add things so it will be interesting to find out what changes have been made.

The Annex was spotlessly clean,the welcome pack was out of this world it had everything you needed.
The bed was very comfortable had good nights sleep. It provided everything you needed like lots of tea towels and towels etc and also they left chews for the dog which was thoughtful. The reason we did not give full marks because the garden in the advert showed a very large garden which we could not use. A very small patio came with the Annex was too small for the dog to exercise (lovely sun trap). Unfortunately I had to exercise the dog first thing in the morning and last thing at night (round the block). If we had not had the dog we would have given it top marks.

The property has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing break.
With enough food in the fridge on arrival that you neednât rush off immediately looking for a supermarket. Ideal location for anyone who doesnât want to use a car. With a network of car-free bike routes and footpaths leading all over the island. There are also regular bus services which will take you the length and breadth of the island for just a £2 single fare at the present.

This was our 2nd stay at Westmount.
It is nicely furnished and suits our needs with the dog. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. TV was "iffy" even though we followed the instructions concerning only using the arrows to navigate channels. This really wasn't of great significance to us as we were either out visiting or had visitors each evening. Will definitely look to book again for our next visit.

The welcome pack is still out of this world and you have everything you need on your first night and beyond. Westmount is clean and very comfortable like home from home. It was nice to see Cathy and her dog Sophie, our dog Rocky had a lovely time racing up and down the beautiful garden with Sophie. All being well we hope to come back next year.
